One day, two of the best places in the northern Black Hills
Devils Tower stands by itself above the Belle Fourche River in northeast Wyoming, and in 1906 it became the first national monument in the country. It's a long way from Rapid City, so a lot of visitors plan to see it and run out of day. On this tour your guide does the driving and keeps an eye on the clock, so you can watch the tower grow on the horizon and save your energy for the monument itself.
Spearfish Canyon is the other half of the day. The road follows Spearfish Creek between tall limestone walls, and there are waterfalls you can see right from the road. It's lovely in any season, but when the aspens and birch turn gold in the fall it's hard to stop taking pictures.
Every tour of ours is private, for two to five guests. Nobody else rides along, and the stops are planned around your group.
When you'll leave
Your pickup is 8:30 AM. Devils Tower gets very busy in the middle of the day, so we'll call you as soon as possible to offer a 7:00 AM start, which goes straight to Devils Tower to get ahead of the crowds, or an 11:00 AM start, which does Spearfish Canyon first and Devils Tower last in the day. Those times are from Rapid City, and we pick you up earlier if you're staying farther out. If you'd rather keep 8:30 AM, you can.
Pick your day
Tap an open day on the calendar to book it. You'll see the price for your group and your date before you pay, and if the day you want isn't open, call us at (605) 252-9100. The tour is private, for two to five guests.
